The Akwa Ibom State government has issued an order to all the traders in the state to immediately reduce the cost of foodstuff in the market within 31 days. The ordered was issued to the traders in a letter released by the Special Assistant to the state governor Udom Emmanuel on Traders’ Matters, Idoronyin Rapheal.

Nollywood actor/ director turned politician, Hon. Desmond Elliot, who is representing Surulere 1 Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, donated the bus which will be used to convey students from his constituency to school for free. A suspected member of the notorious Badoo gang was caught and lynched around Olomomeje Mosque in Aga, (Oni Ogunsanya Street) Ikorodu. The suspect was caught this morning then taken to the Onyabo office where he was interrogated by Onyabo - a vigilante group in Ikorodu - at their office.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has revamped the security fuel dump in Alausa, Ikeja to an ultra modern facility to enhance service delivery for vehicles used for surveillance activities by the Police in the State.

Many passengers were left stranded after a bridge that links passengers from Niger state to Lagos state collapsed after a heavy downpour. The collapsed portion of the bridge is at Gidan Mai Village, along Mokwa-Makera highway in Niger state.
