Former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, has reacted to the recent court rulings secured by the EFCC for her to permanently forfeit some cash traced to her. In a statement released by her media team, the embattled former Minister says she cannot forfeit properties or monies that she does not rightfully own.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, has refuted a rumored bomb scare at the Hajj and Cargo Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos. There were speculations online yesterday that a bomb was detected at the terminal by FAAN officials. The agency has however released a statement to clarify on what truly happened. FG releases list of 27 industries to benefit in the new tax break policy

The Minister for Trade and Investment, Okechukwu Enelemah, has disclosed the 27 industries that would benefit in the Federal government's recently introduced pioneer status also known as tax break policy. Last week, the Federal government announced the introduction of Pioneer status, a policy where companies within a certain industry will be exempted from paying company income tax for an initial period of three years. Afterward, they can be exempted for two more years.
